RIPE Hires Prominent U.S. Information Architect

Vancouver, April 18, 2006 — RIPE, a Vancouver-based custom software development firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Drucker to Information Architect. Mr. Drucker is charged with leading the development of user interfaces for RIPE's clients - interfaces that employees and customers will instinctively know how to use.

Mr. Drucker joins RIPE from Fidelity Investments in Boston where he was responsible for the development of the user interface for Equity Research and Retirement Income Planner components of the award winning Fidelity.com web site. Prior to Fidelity, he worked as a consultant with The Kendall Group in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he worked on the design, prototype and launch of new products and technologies for clients including Apple Computer, CIBA Geigy, The Harvard Business School, The New England Journal of Medicine, and the US Coast Guard. Mr. Drucker began his career at Ziff-Davis Interactive after graduating from Cambridge University with a Master of Philosophy Degree in Music Composition. He has been active in the Boston Computer Society and the Association for Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (ACM SIGCHI). He has been a frequent speaker at the MacWorld Expositions, and is a published author of two books on Computers and Multimedia.
